Having a family member take photos as well as a professional photographer can be flirting with disaster. However, it can also be a blessing in disguise as it will not only keep the pros on their toes but you never know where that one great shot is going to come from. The trick is to make sure to have a reliable and responsible member of your family taking the extra photos and to have a candid conversation of what you expect from their behavior. Most families have a natural or someone who just seems to take great pictures.
Make sure your amateur family member photographer has plenty of film and a firm understanding that they are not to compete with or get in the way of the professionals for which you paid top dollar. Ask them to be as discreet as possible and let everyone know that they can cooperate with your Jr. P man so that it is easier for them to get that lucky shot.

Remember your college days? The good times which you shared with your friends during those long lost yester-years still replay frequently through your head. Remember all of your friends? How they aspired more then anything to have the picture perfect family and a career to die for after graduation. Those were the days weren’t they?
How many friends of yours actually planned out their weddings while in school? Surely there was talk amongst the female student body of what flowers they would want, or even what type of bridal shower and bridal shower favors they would want. After all college days meant that you had little to worry about except your next exam, so surely there was spare time for you and your friends to talk amongst yourselves and even discuss your futures. It is common knowledge that a woman’s favorite flower is often incorporated in some way into her wedding shower favors, so sometimes it pays to listen and pay attention to your classmates daydreams.

Have you ever attended a wedding in the spring time? If you have then surely you know just how creative some decorations can become for these events. Sometimes they are held outside where all of the beautiful flowers are just coming into bloom and the birds are chirping. This is because spring represents romance as well as the renewal of life. When two people get married that is just what they do, they begin a new life with their spouses.
As with any other type of wedding, spring time weddings mean having to choose wedding favors. Some people chose traditional spring wedding favors while others decide to go with garden wedding favors. Sometimes people even combine the two. I can even remember one wedding that I attended, where the happy couple used little glass bowls with two goldfish each in them as table centerpieces. After the wedding party was over guess what they gave out as wedding favors. Yup you guessed it; everyone received a pet goldfish as a party favor.

The tension rises as they glare at each other from behind the bride and groom. Even the preacher notices that something is amiss and that there is nothing anyone can do. Absolutely no one wants to get in the middle of this one. The funny part is, it is a set-up. As the wedding vows are read, the looks that they throw at one another are as sharp as daggers and could cut through solid steel. They are…, the best man and the bridesmaid.
One of the oldest tricks in the book is to take two of your closest friends and insert them into the best man and bridesmaid positions at your wedding in the hopes that they will hook up. The overall plan is that they fall in love and marry. This way they can buy the house next to yours and go out to sushi with you on Friday nights. While the intentions of this plan are pure enough, it hardly ever works out.
The reason this clever little ploy never works out is the positions held within the wedding party. These two otherwise wonderful friends are on opposing forces that drives a wedge between them. It then becomes an illness that has no cure. There are symptoms that give it away quickly.

The average time of day for most weddings is one o’clock in the afternoon. There is nothing wrong with getting married at one o’clock in the afternoon, if you are an average kind of couple. However, if you are not average, you may want to consider saying your nuptials at a more romantic time of day. Another very popular time to sanctify your faith in one another is at sunset. Pulling in a close third is a fresh and renewing sunrise. To start the day rejoicing in the one you love is always a great idea.
Sunsets are wondrous affairs when shared with the one you love. As you look forward to a lifetime of sunsets together, why not kick your marriage off right and begin with a romantic sunset wedding. This can be particularly gratifying if you are on a beach, by a lake, or even in the mountains.

I remember one night I was watching the National Geographic channel, and they were discussing various traditions at weddings through out the world. Now at the beginning of the episode, it seemed as though every culture celebrated their unions differently. That was until I suddenly realized that all of these cultures share some of the same common aspects.
It is obvious to assume that in every culture, the couples being wed were of opposite sexes. At first this bothered me a bit because these days’ people should not be as closed minded to only research wedding traditions through opposite sex couples. However, through my frustration I still managed to take note of one fine detail. All of these cultures displayed some type of garden wedding favors. That’s right, not only were they being joined in their native culture, but they did so and without even realizing it, joined all the cultures together by using something as simple as spring wedding favors. Ironic isn’t it?

Do you remember the late 80’s and early 90’s, when NBC use to air the Little House on the Prairie episodes? That’s right, back then Michael Landon wasn’t just a star, but he was a producer as well. If your not familiar with the television series, then you probably have not been familiarized with the book compilation either.
The setting for the story takes place in the 1870’s on the American Frontier. The characters which the story is based upon are known as the Ingalls Family, and they have literally faced joys and sorrow together. Relocating from Wisconsin to Kansas, the Ingalls family not only faces the rough and rugged untamed wilderness, but they have to build themselves a new home in it from scratch. Through all of the pearls which have befallen them, they still triumph victorious and even happy. One particular episode which aired on television had the whole fan base watching. It was the episode in which Laura Ingalls married Mr. Almanzo Wilder, thus becoming Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder. Seeing as to how the setting was the 1870’s there were obviously no wedding party favors and obviously no wedding guest favors.
